Warangal Urban: The State government is committed to provide financial assistance to the poor who suffer from health ailments through the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), Warangal West MLA and Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said here on Sunday.
He was speaking afer handing over cheques worth Rs seven lakhs sanctioned under CMRF to the beneficiaries at a programme at Shyampet in the city. “Despite financial problems caused by the Covid pandemic, the State government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is implementing the welfare schemes to provide succour to the poor,” he added.
Vinay Bhaskar also handed over saplings to the attendees along with the cheque with an aim to create awareness among the people towards protection of environment by raising the trees. Local corporator Aruna Shivashankar, TRS party division president Venugopal and others attended the programme.
