Hyderabad: A two-judge panel of the Telangana High Court, comprising Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice Vijaysen Reddy, on Wednesday refused to act suo-moto on the alarming water inundation situation in Telangana, particularly in the city.
Even as a lawyer made a mention of this, the Chief Justice said the government was doing its best to cope with the situation.
“Let us leave it to the government to carry out its administrative functions. We do not want to interfere with its function at this stage,” the Chief Justice said while refusing to entertain any suo-moto writ petition.
