Hyderabad: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday accused the State government of failure in containing the spread of Coronavirus besides ensuring sufficient supply of vaccines.

“There is no clear action plan with the government. Even top officials like Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar are unable to give complete details, including total population eligible for vaccination, supply from Central government and manufacturing capacity of pharma companies in the State,” he said in an online media conference.

“The government has constituted a Task Force but the team has not inspected any hospital and initiated action against those charging exorbitant fee from patients,” Vikramarka said, adding that the State government had announced vaccination for all aged above 18 years.

“Forget about first dose vaccination, there is no information on second dose vaccination. Despite due date passing for many, government is not taking any measure to address the issue,” he alleged.
