Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday gave administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.462.50 crore towards meeting the expenditure for the first quarter under Kalyana Lakshmi scheme.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao introduced Kalyana Lakshmi scheme on humanitarian grounds to help parents who are struggling to perform their daughter’s marriage due to poverty.


Under this scheme, the State government gives 1,00,116 assistance to perform the marriage of a girl. Lakhs of girls are being blessed by the Chief Minister through this scheme.
