Govt school students complain about worm-infested food in CM Revanth Reddy’s constituency
Videos of worm infested rice were shared on different social media platforms. In one of the videos, the leaders were seen asking the school staff about the poor quality rice being used for cooking food in the mid-day meals.

Kodangal: Students of the Primary and Zilla Parishad School at Kommuru village, Gundamal mandal in Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s constituency of Kodangal are complaining about worm infested rice being used to cook meals for them.
After learning about the issue, Kodangal former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy along with a few other local leaders visited the school on Monday. When the leaders inspected the store room, they came across rice bags infested with worms. Videos of worm infested rice were shared on different social media platforms. In one of the videos, the leaders were seen asking the school staff about the poor quality rice being used for cooking food in the mid-day meals. In reply, the staff members are seen explaining that the rice was stored for three months.
The leaders also spoke to students and they said that despite repeated complaints, school staff did not change the rice.
