Govt teacher suspended for misbehaving with girl students in Mancherial
A teacher was placed under suspension for allegedly misbehaving with girl students of a government high school in Mancherial town. An order to this effect was issued by District Educational Officer S Yadaiah here on Tuesday.

As per the order, Satyanarayana, a Telugu language teacher was suspended for misbehaving with students studying Class VI and VII at the school, based on a report submitted by Mancherial MEO who inquired into the allegations against the teacher. He was asked not to leave the district headquarters without taking permission from higher officials.
It was learnt that parents reportedly beat up the teacher when the students disclosed that he was touching them inappropriately under the guise of teaching on Monday. They then handed over the teacher to the headmistress of the school for further action.
