Hyderabad: Government Whip Balka Suman on Friday lashed out at the BJP MPs from Telangana State and condemned their usage of unparliamentary language against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the State Cabinet Ministers. He said the BJP MPs were blaming the State government and the Chief Minister to cover up for their failures to get any funds sanctioned by the Centre for development of Telangana State. He warned the State BJP leaders against using such foul language or be ready to face the consequences.
Speaking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan here, Suman said the entire Telangana population knows about the funds allocated by the Centre to the State in the Union Budget for 2021-22 and the failure of the BJP MPs in protecting the interests of the State. “Rather than speaking about the funds and the tax share dues to the State, the BJP MPs are using harsh language to criticise the Chief Minister and the State Ministers. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Unless they stop their behaviour, the BJP leaders will have to face consequences,” he cautioned.
The Chennur MLA pointed out that the BJP MPs were not responding to the Union Minister’s announcement in Parliament that the Centre has shelved the proposed Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) in Hyderabad and instead, blaming the State government for the same. He advised Nizamabad MP D Arvind to first get the turmeric board to Nizamabad as per his electoral promise and written assurance on a bond paper, before speaking about any issue. He stated that if the BJP MPs were only interested in mudslinging against TRS rather than development and welfare, they will receive similar response.
