Hyderabad: Kicking up a fresh row, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the State government was ready to take up inspection of the Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, the Amara Jyothi Martyrs Memorial and other constructions taken up by the previous BRS governments in terms of quality of works. He said the government would appoint technical experts to examine the quality of works of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme and other barrages and projects taken up by the BRS government.

Alleging that the Kaleshwaram project suffered several damages despite enhancing its cost from Rs.38,000 crore to Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the name of redesigning, he claimed that there was no detailed project report for the Kaleshwaram project.

Speaking after distributing appointment letters to 1,635 candidates selected in various examinations conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Sunday, the Chief Minister said they would be tasked with major projects like Regional Ring Road, radial roads and Musi riverfront development.

Appointment letters would be given to 11,063 candidates who qualified in the recently conducted District Selection Committee (DSC) examination on October 9, he added.
