Gowtham Model School storms into final with massive win
Gowtham Model School (West Marredpally) thrashed Academic Heights Public School by 234 runs in the HCA under-14 one-day cricket championship, thanks to centuries from Akhileshwar and G Sai Vaibhav. Gowtham World School (Sarrornagar) also advanced with a seven-wicket win
Hyderabad: Centuries by Akhileshwar (115, 101b, 17×4) and G Sai Vaibhav (113 not out, 101b, 14×4, 1×6) helped Gowtham Model School defeat Academic Heights Public School by 234 runs in the HCA Inter-schools and district under-14 one-day cricket championship here on Friday.
In another semi-final, Gowtham Model School (Sarrornagar) scored a seven-wicket win against Pallavi Model School (Alwal).

Gowtham Model School (West Marredpally) 369/3 in 50 overs (Akhileshwar 115, K Sai Smaran Reddy 31, G Sai Vaibhav 112 not out, P Rohit 75) beat Academic Heights Public School 145 in 36.5 overs (M Maanvik 30, P Anirudh Goud 36, T Nikhil 3/30).
Pallavi Model School (Alwal) 140 in 44.4 overs (CH Anirudh 63, M Aryan 3/19) lost to Gowtham World School (Sarrornagar) 141/3 in 39.2 overs (P Naksh Reddy 53 not out, D Arjun Mahadev 35 not out).
