Grand celebrations mark BRS formation day in Khammam

Khammam: The BRS party’s 26th formation day was celebrated grandly across the erstwhile Khammam district on Monday.
Party cadres and leaders organised celebrations at the ward, village, mandal, constituency and district levels, where cakes were cut and party flags were hoisted. In Khammam, former DCCB chairman K Nagabhushanam, along with activists, hoisted the party flag at Telangana Bhavan.
Addressing the gathering, leaders emphasised that the BRS was a party established with the sole objective of achieving statehood for Telangana and successfully united people, employees and students to achieve Telangana State under the leadership of party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.
In Kothagudem, party founding member Dindigala Rajender hoisted the party flag at the district party office in the evening in the presence of a large number of cadres. Former municipal chairperson Kapu Seethalakshmi and TBGKS chief general secretary Kapu Krishna hoisted the flag at Ramavaram Centre.
Former councillor Rukmangadhar Bhandari, BRS activists Bathula Srinivas, Syed Ahmed, B Sridhar and others grandly celebrated BRS Formation Day at the Rama Talkies area in the 50th municipal division of Kothagudem Municipal Corporation. At Bhadrachalam, senior leader Ravulapalli Ramprasad hoisted the party flag.
