Hyderabad: A Groups job aspirant died by suicide allegedly over personal reasons at a hostel in Ashok Nagar here on Monday night.

G Surekha, who recently appeared for the Group-II and III recruitment exams, allegedly had an argument with her fiancé on Monday evening. Following this, Surekha, a native of Kamareddy district, allegedly resorted to the extreme step and was found hanging in her room.


On information, Chikkadpally police swung into action and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary. According to family members, Surekha, after her engagement last month, came to Hyderabad to appear for the Group-II and III examinations.

Meanwhile, a large number of police personnel have been deployed at the Gandhi Hospital. The unemployed youth urged the government aspirants not to resort to extreme steps.
