Hyderabad: Gujarat Handicrafts Utsav-2025 Industrial Extension Cottage (Indext-C), Government of Gujarat, is organizing a Gujarat Handicrafts Utsav at Shilparamam, Madhapur, from October 23 to November 1.
The event, which will be on from 10.30 am to 8 pm, is being organised with the aim of making the artisans self-reliant, creating better market reach and eventually serving them with growth in their income. Visitors can also enjoy Kachchi Ghodi show, Puppet Show, etc.
More than 80 master craftsmen from Gujarat are participating, exhibiting and demonstrating their rich customary art and craft in Patola weaving, Tangaliya weaving, Shawl weaving, Kutchi-Embroidery, Ajrakh Block Print, Tie & Dye (Bandhej), leather work, Copper Bell, Mud mirror work, Zari-zardosi work, Bead work, Agate articles, Chaniya choli, Applique work, Wooden & Metal work, jewellery & accessories, home decor & furnishings, etc. The event was inaugurated by R S Shah, Manager, INDEX-,C and Marketing Manager Dr Snehal Makwana, along with national awardee artisans.
