Gulf returnee kills wife in Jagtial

It is learnt that Ramesh, who married Sunitha 10 years ago, began doubting her character and started quarreling with her after his return from Dubai.

Jagtial: A Gulf returnee, Ramesh, allegedly killed his wife Sunitha in Venkatraopet of Mallapur mandal on Wednesday.

According to villagers, Ramesh, who went to Dubai in search of employment a few years ago, returned recently. Both Ramesh and Sunitha frequently quarrelled with each other. They had an argument on Wednesday morning as well. As the argument turned serious, Ramesh hit Sunitha’s head against a wall. She died on the spot with severe head injury. It is learnt that Ramesh, who married Sunitha 10 years ago, began doubting her character and started quarreling with her after his return from Dubai.


Police, who shifted the body to Jagtial hospital for postmortem, have registered a case and are investigating.
