Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad draws 6,610 runners

The second edition of the Federal Bank Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad drew 6,610 runners at the Artillery Centre, Golconda. Organised by Fitistan, the event promoted fitness and marked the 200-year legacy of the Regiment of Artillery.

Hyderabad: The second edition of the Federal Bank Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad, organised by Fitistan – Ek Fit Bharat, witnessed an overwhelming participation of 6,610 runners at the Artillery Centre, Golconda. The event brought together Armed Forces personnel, veterans, families, fitness enthusiasts and citizens to celebrate fitness while honouring the courage, commitment and sacrifice of India’s Gunners.

The event marked the 200-year legacy of the Regiment of Artillery, bringing its rich history and traditions closer to the public through the spirit of sport, endurance and community participation. The Soldierathon allowed participants to run together while paying tribute to generations of Gunners who have served the nation.

The event was attended by Major General Srinivas, Brigadier Rahul Machhral, Shilpa Bhagat, Co-Founder, Fitistan; Major Surendra Poonia, Co-Founder, Fitistan and Manish Shah, Federal Bank. Adding star power to the event, popular actor Adivi Sesh was also part of the Gunners Soldierathon Hyderabad. Shilpa Bhagat said, “Seeing 6,610 runners come together to celebrate fitness while honouring the legacy of our Armed Forces makes this edition particularly meaningful.”
