Warangal: A city-level photography competition is being organized under the auspices of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) on climate change and urbanization, said Commissioner P Pravinya here on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the GWMC, she said that the photographers and photography enthusiasts can send photos on Greater Warangal’s development, old and new cities, pleasant atmosphere created by the civic body, and gardens to win the prizes. The photos must be sent to the email id ‘gwmcsmartphotography@gmail.com’. The prizes worth up to Rs 15,000 will be given for the best selected photos. However, she added that the photos must be in high resolution (HD), and the last date for sending photos is January 15 (5 pm).
The commissioner therefore urged interested city dwellers to take grab this opportunity and win prizes. This competition is being conducted as a part of the Smart City Mission (SCM), the note said.
