Hyderabad: Gymkhana FC recorded an impressive 6–1 victory over City College Old Boys (CCOB) in the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament at Bolarun here on Friday.
Gymkhana FC took the lead in the 10th minute through Kishore.
Gymkhana FC doubled their lead in the 30th minute when Nanda found the net, giving his side a comfortable 2–0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Majid scored in the 46th minute to make it 3–0, and Sunil added the fourth goal in the 55th minute. Majid struck again in the 70th minute to score Gymkhana FC’s fifth goal of the match.
CCOB managed to pull one back in the 75th minute through Ali Kaseri, making the score 5–1. However, Gymkhana FC continued their dominance, and Vishal scored in the 79th minute to increase the margin to 6–1.
