Half naked Congress leader submits complaint during Prajavani in Peddapalli
Rajesham on Monday lodged his complaint requesting officials to protect 10 acres of government land from land grabbers in Madaka of Odela mandal.
Peddapalli: Congress district official spokesperson Goshika Rajesham on Monday created a flutter when he submitted a complaint at the Prajavani programme half naked.
Rajesham on Monday lodged his complaint requesting officials to protect 10 acres of government land from land grabbers in Madaka of Odela mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that land grabbers had tried to occupy 10 acres of the government land (worth about Rs 3 crore) in the village. However, as the Collector did not respond on the issue, he lodged a complaint with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Based on the minister’s instructions, the collector carried out a survey with revenue officials and fixed boundaries in the presence of the Tahsildar and police personnel. However, land grabbers were cultivating on the land after removing boundaries.
Though he had earlier brought the issue to the notice of collector, the latter allegedly did not take any action. So, he decided to give a representation in Prajavani in an innovative way to open the eyes of officials. Besides protecting the government land, it should be distributed to poor people, he demanded.
