Hansika Motwani booked for domestic violence, cruelty, financial exploitation

According to the complaint, Muskan Nancy accused sister-in- law Hansika and her mother-in-law Mona Motwani for interfering in their marriage and straining her relationship with her husband

Hyderabad: An FIR has been filed against Telugu actress Hansika Motwani, her brother and her mother Mona Motwani by television actress and sister-in-law of actress Muskan Nancy alleging abuse and harassment.

The actress, who is married to Hansika’s brother Prashant Motwani, accused the Motwani family of various offences including domestic violence, cruelty, and financial exploitation.


According to the complaint, the actress accused sister-in- law Hansika and her mother-in-law Mona Motwani for interfering in their marriage and straining her relationship with her husband.

She also accused her husband of domestic violence. She further said that she developed a condition called ‘Bell’s Palsy’ as a result of constant abuse. She added that the family used to demand expensive gifts and money.

The actress who is best known for her role in serial ‘Mata ki Chowki’ also stated that her sister-in-law and mother-in-law engage in fraudulent activities concerning property dealings.

The complaint was lodged at Mumbai’s Amboli police station on December 18, 2024.
