Harbhajan Singh’s ‘Friendship’ garners praise
The former cricketer will be playing a prominent role in the film, which is being directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.
Like his exploits on the cricket field, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh will display his heroics on the silver screen now. He is playing one of the lead roles in the upcoming movie Friendship. The movie is creating quite a buzz soon after its teaser was released on social media.
The cricket fraternity came in praise for the former spinner soon after its launch. Directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, Friendship is expected to hit theatres this year soon. The film marks Harbhajan’s acting debut.
Friendship with the tagline ‘Singh and King’ is being produced with a whopping budget of Rs 25 crore and has senior actor Arjun. The movie is currently being shot in Coimbatore and Ooty. Tamil producer J Sathish Kumar is playing the negative character in the movie.
