Hare Krishna Movement to celebrate Janmashtami with cultural events in Hyderabad
The Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, will celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami on August 15-16 with devotional events including Jhulan Seva, Abhishekam, Maha Mangala Arati, Nandotsavam, and Vyasa Puja at three centres across Telangana

Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Movement (HKM), Hyderabad, has lined up a series of devotional and cultural programmes to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple on August 15 and 16.
The Janmashtami highlights include Jhulan Seva, Abhishekam, Vishesha Archana, Maha Abhishekham, and Arati on both days. On Saturday, midnight Abhishekam with 108 kalashas, Maha Mangala Arati, and Jhulan Seva will also be conducted. On Sunday, Nandotsavam and Vyasa Puja celebrations will be organised, according to a press release.
“The festivities on August 16 will be held across all three centres, including Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills; Hare Krishna Heritage Tower, Narsingi; and Hare Krishna Cultural Centre, Kandi, Sangareddy,” said Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president of Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad.
