Harish asks BRS cadre to expose Congress failures during week-long protests

Former minister T. Harish Rao asked BRS cadres in Siddipet to prepare for statewide protests from September 2 and highlight the Congress government’s alleged failures. He urged workers to conduct door-to-door campaigns and distribute Congress Baaki cards among citizens

Siddipet: Former minister T. Harish Rao called upon BRS cadres in the Siddipet constituency to highlight what he described as the failures of the Congress government.

With the BRS preparing to organise statewide protests from September 2, Harish Rao held a meeting with party cadres in Siddipet on Sunday to prepare them for the programme. Stating that the Congress government would complete 1,000 days in power by September 2, Rao asked BRS workers to highlight the ruling party’s alleged failures and explain to people how the Congress had allegedly failed to fulfil the promises it made before the elections.

Stating that the Congress came to power by promising to fulfil all its promises within 100 days of assuming office, Rao said the government had failed to keep those promises even after 1,000 days in power. Alleging that the Congress had disappointed people from all sections of society, the former minister said people in the state wanted to see former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao return as Chief Minister.

He asked BRS cadres to distribute Congress Baaki cards among citizens through door-to-door campaigns. During the week-long protest programmes, he said, the party would highlight one issue each day.

Earlier, Harish Rao participated in multiple programmes across the Siddipet constituency on Sunday.
