Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao announced Rs 3,200 as immediate relief to the 208 persons whose houses were damaged in the heavy rains on Monday across Siddipet district.
With the district administration identifying the number of damaged houses following a primary enumeration, he announced the immediate relief. Earlier, Rao presented a cheque for Rs 25,000 to Lakshman, a tenant farmer, during his visit to Sitrampally village of Nanganur mandal, which recorded heavy rainfall. Since the tenant farmer’s agriculture field was totally submerged in water, Rao gave the amount as immediate relief.
