Hyderabad: BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao condemned the arrest of licensed surveyors protesting peacefully at Survey Bhavan over their demands. He questioned how 6,500 surveyors across Telangana could survive and support their families without receiving payments for a year. He termed the arrests undemocratic and demanded the immediate release of those detained. He also urged the State government to hold talks with licensed surveyors immediately and resolve their grievances instead of suppressing their protest.
