Hyderabad: Former Minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao derided Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for making vile remarks and using derogatory language against BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, during his padayatra in erstwhile Nalgonda district. He stated that Revanth Reddy’s behaviour was unbecoming of a Chief Minister.
During a roadshow near Valigonda on Friday, Revanth Reddy made abusive remarks against Chandrashekhar Rao and warned to give the latter a dog’s death by crushing him under bulldozers, if he attempted to stop the Musi River rejuvenation project.
Citing a poem from Sumathi Satakam on X, Harish Rao said Revanth Reddy had proved once again that despite holding highest positions in the society, one would not change their natural lowly behaviour. He lambasted Revanth Reddy for disrespecting Chandrashekhar Rao, a leader who fought for Telangana’s statehood.
“Your comments on KCR, who is of your father’s age and stature, are unwarranted,” he said, adding that the nation never witnessed such a low-grade abusive Chief Minister in its history.
The former Minister criticised the Chief Minister stating that the latter’s crooked mind and abusive language would not change, notwithstanding any efforts. He reminded that while the BRS leaders had a history of leading Telangana towards development, Revanth Reddy’s past was filled with corruption, shortcuts and deceit. He vowed to teach a befitting lesson to the latter in the people’s court. He suggested that the Chief Minister focus on governance and constructive policies rather than engaging in boastful and autocratic behaviour.
