Harish Rao gifts iPads to 31 meritorious SSC students in Siddipet
Former Minister T. Harish Rao presented iPads to 31 meritorious SSC students from the Siddipet Assembly constituency. He announced that the top 50 students would receive similar devices from next year and encouraged students to use technology for academic purposes.
Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao presented i-Pads to 31 meritorious students of Siddipet assembly constituency. The top 31 students in 10th class board examinations were given the i-Pads during a programme at Indira Nagar Public School in the town on Thursday. Addressing the students and parents on this occasion, Rao said that he would present the i-Pads to 50 best students next year.
Since he was educating the students on the need to stay away from social media and smartphones, the former minister said that these i-Pads were designed to help the students to access only intermediate study materials. Stating that the students enrolment in Indira Nagar public school reached a record 1,234, which was second highest number in Telangana, Rao said that many students were coming forward to join the school as the institute has been providing best results in 10th class board examinations.
