Harish Rao hands over Rs 5 lakh aid to BRS worker’s family, assures continued support

Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao handed over Rs 5 lakh cheque to widow of BRS Party worker Chakali Kanakaiah (35), who died in a road accident on his way to his home after participating in BRS silver jubilee celebrations organised at Elkathurthy on April 27. Kanakaiah was survived by his wife and two daughters. Harish Rao visited the house Kanakaiah at Thunki Maktha in Wargal mandal on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that the BRS Party will always standby the party cadre. Comforting the family members, he said that they will ensure the two children were admitted in government residential schools.
Saying that he was presenting the cheque following the directions of Party president K Chandrashekhar Rao, the former minister said that they will further extend support after coming to power again. He said that the local BRS leaders will extend all support whenever the family needs any help.
