Sangareddy: Finance Minister T Harish Rao inaugurated the 100-bed Covid-19 care centre at Calvary Temple located at Huggelli near Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district on Saturday.
Hailing the efforts of the management of Calvary Temple in combating the Covid-19 in Telangana, Harish Rao has said that they will supply round the clock Oxygen at the 50 -bed facility at Area Hospital Zaheerabad. To permanently address the Oxygen availability at the Area Hospital, Rao said he is granting a 500 liter capacity Oxygen unit to the area hospital. The Minister has also patted MP Zaheerabad BB Patil for donating 30 Oxygen Concentrators each to Narayankhed and Andole Area Hospitals.
Later, the Minister flagged off three ambulances donated to Government Hospital Sangareddy by philanthropists at the Collectorate in Sangareddy. While MLC V Bhupal Reddy donated one ambulance, the management of Amazon Papyrus Chemicals Limited located at IDA Bollaram donated two ambulances. Appreciating their efforts, Rao has called upon the industrialists to support the government and the people during the pandemic. Zilla Parishad Chairperson P Manjusri, Collector Sangareddy M Hanumantha Rao, Additional Collector Rajarshi Sha and others were present.
