Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao said on Friday that the new Haritha Hotel at Nagulabanda would become a one-stop destination for all north Telangana people taking the Rajiv Rahadari to reach their native places from Hyderabad.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the three-star hotel built at a cost of Rs 19.44 crore, the Minister said that people from Mancherial, Asifabad, Ramagundam, Karimnagar, Siricilla, and other parts of the north Telangana region take Rajiv Rahadari to reach their native places.
Since there are no proper hotels and restaurants along the motorway, the government decided to build the Haritha Hotel where everyone can find good food at reasonable prices. Since the hotel also has 30 rooms and a suite, people can stay in the hotel if they need some rest, he said. Since Siddipet district witnessed huge development, it has been attracting a good number of tourists too, the Minister said, adding that there was, however, no proper place to provide accommodation to visitors and tourists in Siddipet until Haritha Hotel was constructed.
IT Tower
With IT Tower also coming up close to Haritha Hotel, he said the hotel would be busy once the tower becomes operational. Since the Police Commissionerate, Integrated Collectorate, LV Prasad Eye Hospital, Railway Station, and others were coming close to the place, Nagulabanda and Duddeda, another highway village, will witness a huge development in the days to come. Saying that Siddipet had witnessed all-round development in the last seven years as K Chandrashekhar Rao, who hails from Siddipet, became the Chief Minister, Rao said Siddipet has won 33 awards for development, hygiene. He further said that they were also laying three national highways-Hanmakonda-Siddipet, Janagon-Cheryial, and Siddipet-Dudded-Siricilla- roads. The Minister said that the Siddipet railway line was also nearing completion. MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson V Roja Sharma, MLC Farooq Hussain, MLC Dr V Yadava Reddy, Tourism Development Corporation Chairman U Srinivas Guptha, and others were present.
