Harish Rao lays foundation for Bharosa Centre in Siddipet

Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister said that they will also open a Sakhi Centre and Old age home in the same complex on the premises of Rural Police Station soon after the completion of works.

Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has laid a foundation stone for the construction of Bharosa Centre on the premises of Siddipet Rural Police Station on Thursday. Gowra Petro Chemicals Limited has donated Rs one crore towards the construction of building under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister said that they will also open a Sakhi Centre and Old age home in the same complex on the premises of Rural Police Station soon after the completion of works.


Rao has appreciated Gowra Srinivas and Gowra Lakshmiprasad, owners of Gowra Petroc Chemicals, for making a generous contribution towards Bharosa Centre building construction. Saying that the Bharosa Centre is being operated from old RDO office building temporarily now, the Minister said that the Bharosa Centre will extend all kinds of support to the women who were in trouble.

Stating that they were already giving all the support to the women through the Women’s Police Station, he said that the Bharosa Centre will fill the missing links in providing safety and security to the women. Commissioner of Police N Swetha, Municipal Chairperson K Manjula and others were present.
