Hyderabad: Former Minister and BRS senior leader Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao paid glowing tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas.
In his message, Harish Rao hailed Dr. Ambedkar as the great visionary who paved the way for the formation of Telangana through Article 3 of the Constitution. The path for the creation of Telangana was made possible because of the foresight of that great man. His relentless struggle for the upliftment of oppressed sections and for a society free from inequalities will never be forgotten, Harish Rao said.
The former minister recalled that it was BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao who ensured Dr. Ambedkar’s inspiration reaches present and future generations by naming the Telangana Secretariat after Ambedkar and installing a 125-foot statue of the leader. Working tirelessly to realise Babasaheb’s ideals is the true tribute we can offer him, he said.
