Hyderabad: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao on Monday attacked the Congress government for crippling every sector of Telangana under its 22-month rule. He said people were vexed with the inefficient rule of the Congress and were eager to teach a lesson to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

“Private hospitals are shut as bills remain unpaid, colleges closed due to stalled fee reimbursement, and unemployed youth cheated with non-release of allowances and job calendars,” he said. He added that even sanitation in villages has collapsed with garbage tractors stranded for want of diesel.

Harish Rao charged that farmers have been left in the lurch with incomplete implementation of loan waivers, crop bonuses, and support for agricultural labourers, while the urea shortage severely affected cultivation. “From students to farmers, everyone is facing a blockade. Welfare is blocked, and development is blocked. This is the reality of Congress’s rule,” he said.
