Hyderabad: Former Minister and senior MLA T Harish Rao has lashed out at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for releasing the Telangana EAPCET results from his residence in Jubilee Hills, rather than at an official event. He termed it a display of arrogance and disregard for established practices.

Congratulating students who secured ranks in the prestigious Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET), Harish Rao simultaneously took a dig at the disturbing departure from official practices.

“In 77 years of independent India, no Chief Minister has released competitive exam results from their home. This marks a new low and exposes Revanth Reddy’s utter disrespect for governance and also for students,” he said.

He questioned the Chief Minister’s continued functioning from the latter’s Jubilee Hills residence and Integrated Command Control Centre instead of the Secretariat.

“He neither lets the police function independently nor allows officials to carry out their duties. This is not how public governance is meant to function,” he said.
