Siddipet: Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao has decided to support the education of 17-year old orphaned girl who got an admission in B. Sc Nursing in a private College in Siddipet. The Minister has decided to pay Rs 2.8 lakh from his pocket towards the four years tuition fee and hostel fee of Myakala Manasa. According to District Welfare Officer Ramgopal Reddy, the girl Mykala Manasa (17) of Ghanapur in Nanganur Mandal lost her parents within a gap of three years. While her mother Pushpa died in 2016 and her father Mallesh passed away in 2019. Manasa stayed with her grandparents and relatives for a few months.
However, she moved to Balasadan Siddipet two years ago when her grandparents were not in a state to support her. Manasa has completed her Xth class with 9CGPA and Intermediate with 76 per cent marks overcoming all the hurdles. She got admission in BSc Nursing at Surabhi Private Nursing College in Siddipet. Since officials came to know that no relative was in a state to support her education, the authorities at Balasadan Karra Ramu brought it to the notice of Health Minister who has responded quickly and assured to fund her entire education expenses.
Manasa was admitted to the college on Saturday with the support of the Minister. Thanking Harish Rao for his kind support, Manasa, who was elated after getting the admission, said that she has got a confidence of settling down in life as she got the support at right time.
