Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader and former Minister T Harish Rao fired salvos at the Congress government, over its failure on key promises related to water, funds, and employment in Telangana.

Taking to X, Harish Rao said the Revanth Reddy government had failed to secure Telangana’s rightful share of Krishna River waters. Despite making tall claims during the elections, he said the Congress government had shown no urgency in resolving the Bankacharla water issue.

He also flagged the inaction on the Rs 8,929 crore debt appropriation and the failure to deliver on the promise of two lakh government jobs. “Where is the intent and vision for Telangana?” he questioned, blaming the government for betraying the aspirations of the people.
