Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao turned emotional when he heard a girl speak during a programme in Siddipet on Saturday.
Harish Rao had organised an awareness programme to students of Siddipet on Saturday. Sathvika, who was studying 5th class in a local school, turned emotional while talking how her mother Vijaya was struggling to take care of her after the sudden demise of her father. She could not control her tears while talking about her mother’s hardships, resulting in everyone sitting in the meeting hall turning emotional, including Harish Rao. Harish Rao hugged Sathvika and comforted her, assuring to support her in the future.
Addressing the students, Rao called upon the students not to waste their time during the summer by browsing the internet, playing games or spending time on social media. Instead, focus on improving some additional skills and prepare themselves for upcoming challenges, he said, asking the students to focus on learning extra curricular activities such as book reading, learning dance, music and helping parents back at home.
