Harish Rao visits Covid ward in Siddipet govt hospital

Minister along with Collector P Venkatrami Reddy and other officials inspected the Covid ward to know the issues of patients and issues of the doctors and other staff discharging duties at the hospital

Siddipet: Drawing inspiration from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s visit to Covid ward in Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday, Finance Minister T Harish Rao made a similar visit to the Covid ward at Government Hospital Siddipet on Wednesday evening.

The Minister along with Collector P Venkatrami Reddy and other officials inspected the Covid ward to know the issues of patients and issues of the doctors and other staff discharging duties at the hospital. Rao enquired with the patients whether they were being served healthy food every day. Appreciating the services of doctors and other staff discharging duties at the government hospital, the Minister hailed their services as priceless.

Talking to a patient from Tadkpally village in the Intensive Care Unit of Covid-19 ward, Harish Rao tried to infuse confidence in him suggesting him to stay positive and strong. Saying that he was also infected with Covid-19, but recovered quickly following the treatment, the Minister has asked them not to worry.

“Worry will impact more than the virus, Rao was seen explaining to the patients. He has enquired to know whether they were given medicine prescribed and food following the time. The Minister went on to interact with the 20 patients, who were being treated at ICU. The Minister has suggested to the staff to keep the hospital clean and hygienic. He has praised the services of the doctors and other staff posted at the Covid-19 ward.
