Hyderabad: The prestigious Monsoon Cup Polo Championship 2025 concluded on a high note at the Nasr Polo and Equestrian Academy, Janwada, with Haryana Hurricane team emerging as champions.
The tournament featured top-tier teams — Haryana Hurricanes, Rajasthan Rumble, and Telangana Thunder — delivering three days of thrilling polo action.

The final, played at the Academy’s acclaimed Silicon Ground, saw Telangana Thunder face off against  Haryana Hurricanes in a gripping encounter.


Both teams fought fiercely, displaying outstanding synergy and determination that kept the audience on edge until the last chukker.

In a closely contested match,  Haryana Hurricanes  sealed victory and lifted the coveted Monsoon Cup 2025, a proud moment for the Haryana team and a testament to its growing stature in the national polo arena.Haryana Hurricanes scored 11 goals where as Telangana Thunder scored only 9 goals.

The Chief Guest, Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), presented the trophy to the jubilant winners. The occasion was graced by His Highness Rounaq Yar Khan, Honourable 9th Nizam of the Asaf Jahi Dynasty, along with several dignitaries and polo enthusiasts.
