Hyderabad: Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has admitted that he had actually declined the invitation from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to take part in the recent meeting to sort out issues related to Telugu film industry.
Although he did receive the invitation, he said he did not want to meet the AP Chief Minister. “There is no question of meeting him,” he said.
The actor reportedly said he released his film ‘Akhanda’ when the ticket prices were low. And it did well at the box office with good collections. He further said he will not let the budget of his film go up and trouble the producer.
Recently, a delegation of Telugu film industry including SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Ali, R Narayana Murthy, Prabhas, Superstar Mahesh Babu were all lead by Megastar Chiranjeevi flew to the capital city Amaravati and closeted with the Chief Minister.
Soon after the meeting, the delegation spoke with optimism that the results of the meeting were fruitful.
