Hyderabad: Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka of the Telangana High Court has directed the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) to file its counter, along with photographs, in a writ petition challenging the proposed auction of two prime land parcels at Raidurg Panmaktha.
The petition concerns Plot Nos. P1 and P2 in Survey No. 83/1 of Raidurg Panmaktha Village, Serilingampally Mandal, which are proposed to be auctioned by TGIIC through its e-auction notification dated August 1, 2026.
The petitioner has questioned the proposed auction on the ground that the land forms part of an area identified for preservation as a heritage precinct and a rock-preserved area. The petitioner has also relied upon earlier technical and officers’ committee reports concerning preservation of the area.
Senior Counsel V. Hariharan appearing for the Petitioner sought among other reliefs, setting aside of the auction notification insofar as it relates to the two plots and directions to the authorities to place on record the survey and demarcation details showing whether the plots fall within or outside the rock-preserved area.
Additional Advocate General Rajnikanth Reddy appeared for TGIIC and sought time to place their response. The Court directed TGIIC to file its counter along with photographs and adjourned the matter to August 20.
