HCA Apex Council directs U23 players to submit documents for verification

Hyderabad: The Apex Council of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has directed all players selected for the HCA Men’s Under-23 State “A” One Day Tournament (Elite Group) to submit their original documents, including Date of Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card and Passport, for verification.
The verification process is being carried out to ensure the authenticity of player records and to uphold the integrity and fairness of the selection process.
The Apex Council clarified that the selection of players has been made solely by the Chairman and the Selection Committee, and that neither the HCA administration nor any other individual has any role or influence in the process.
It was also emphasised that any discrepancies found in the Date of Birth or other submitted details will invite strict legal action against the concerned player.
The HCA reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency, fairness and discipline in all its cricketing activities.
