Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association’s Apex Council meeting, which was scheduled to be held on Friday, was postponed again at the behest of president Mohammed Azharuddin.
Azhar had opposed the ‘informal’ meeting which was held on February 23 terming it illegal.

According to sources, he mentioned that a seven-day notice had to be served for any apex council meeting and that all resolutions made during the meeting were illegal too.
Azhar said he would shortly, in consultation with secretary R Vijayanand, decide on the special meeting.

Meanwhile, Vijayanand in a letter to the HCA president, said the members would be ready to meet on March 2.
