HCA Chief cleared to take part in BCCI Polls

Daljeet Singh, President of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, has been cleared to participate in the BCCI elections on September 28 after objections to his nomination were ruled legally invalid

Hyderabad: The Electoral Officer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has communicated that the objection raised by Ramakrishna Udupa to Daljeet Singh, in-charge President of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), regarding his attendance at the BCCI general meeting later this month is not legally tenable, according to a senior official of the HCA.

It was also informed that, upon verification of the nomination application for representing the HCA, it was found to be completed in all aspects.


“As such, Daljeet Singh is eligible to take part in the BCCI elections on September 28,” the official confirmed.
