HCA league: Varun Goud slams double ton
Varun Goud stole the show with a 257-ball 227 (22x4, 8x6) as Deccan Chroncile ran up to 437/6 in 90 overs against EMCC
Hyderabad: For Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) it was a big victory as they finally got the season’s three-day league got started in seven grounds. The Covid-19 pandemic had disrupted the HCA season this year.
On the first day, there were a couple of big performers. A Varun Goud stole the show with a 257-ball 227 (22×4, 8×6) as Deccan Chroncile ran up to 437/6 in 90 overs against EMCC.
Left-arm spinner G Aniket Reddy scalped five wickets as Evergeen dismissed Concorde for 124 in 45.1 overs. Off spinner Ela Qureshi returned with 5 for 25 as Gemini Friends bowled Cambridge for 182. Swachith Kumar captured five wickets for Zinda Tilismath.
