Hyderabad: Global technology company HCLTech has earned dual recognition from TIME magazine, featuring in the World’s Best Companies 2025 and the World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2025 rankings.
The company has been ranked as the #1 India-headquartered technology firm for the second year in a row and among the top 20 global companies in professional services in the World’s Best Companies list. It also secured a spot among the top 15 professional services firms in the sustainability ranking.
The World’s Best Companies 2025 list evaluates organizations based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency. HCLTech posted $13.8 billion in consolidated FY25 revenue, achieved 4.7% constant currency growth, and continues to promote diversity, with women comprising 29% of its global workforce and 50% of its board of directors.
The sustainability recognition highlights HCLTech’s 46% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, zero waste-to-landfill status across campuses, and water replenishment exceeding 31 times its usage. The company has pledged to reach net-zero emissions by 2040.
“This dual accolade by TIME reinforces the values that have shaped HCLTech for decades and our unwavering commitment to sustainability,” said C. Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech.
The honors add to HCLTech’s milestone year, which also marks its 25th anniversary as a publicly listed company and its recognition as the world’s fastest-growing IT services brand by Brand Finance.
