Headload worker killed on the spot as tractor mows down bike in Mancherial
A 32-year-old hamali, Budarapu Venkatesh, was killed when a tractor collided with his motorcycle on the Vempalli–Mulkalla road in Mancherial district. Police registered a case against the tractor driver, Bheemaiah, and are investigating the incident
Mancherial: A 32-year-old hamali was killed on the spot when a tractor crashed into a motorcycle on the road between Vempalli and Mulkalla villages in Hajipur mandal on Wednesday.
Police said Budarapu Venkatesh (32), a hamali from Mulkalla, sustained critical injuries when the tractor mowed down the two-wheeler, resulting in his instantaneous death. He was proceeding towards Mancherial, while the tractor was heading towards Mulkalla at the time of the incident. He is survived by his wife.
Rajaiah, father of Venkatesh, lodged a complaint with the police. A case was registered against Bheemaiah, the driver of the tractor, and investigation is underway.
