Headmistress suspended for risking student safety in Sangareddy
A headmistress of a Zilla Parishad High School in Sangareddy was suspended for compromising student safety by transporting students in a DCM vehicle to a science fair, violating departmental instructions and safety norms

Sangareddy: The District Educational Officer, Venkateshwarlu, has suspended the headmistress of Zilla Parishad High School, Jinnaram, on charges of compromising student safety while taking them to the Southern India Science Fair.
The Department of Education organised the science fair at Gaudium School in Kollur. Despite clear instructions to arrange bus transportation for students, the headmistress, Mrudula, reportedly took the students in a DCM vehicle.
On coming to know about the violation, District Collector P Pravinya directed the District Educational Officer to place the headmistress under suspension. The action was taken for disregarding safety norms and official instructions issued by the department.
