Heavy police deployment sparks anger in Siddipet

Heavy police deployment in Nanganur mandal of Siddipet restricted villagers’ movement during Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s oil palm factory inauguration at Narmetta. Roads were secured, residents confined indoors, triggering public anger over alleged police excesses

 Siddipet: The Siddipet police deployed a huge number of police forces across all the villages in Nanganur mandal preventing people from coming out of their homes, fearing protests during Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s oil palm factory inauguration programme at Narmetta.

Not only villages in Nanganur mandal, the roads leading to the meeting also were under full police security. The villagers expressed anger at police over-action.


The police did not allow them to walk out of their homes unless the police permitted.
