Heavy rain continues in Hyderabad, top rainfall areas in last 10 days listed
Hyderabad has recorded heavy rainfall over the past ten days, disrupting daily life and transport in several areas. Special teams from civic bodies and the police are managing the impact. Khajaguda and Shaikpet reported the highest rainfall levels
Hyderabad: Hyderabad has recorded high rainfall in the past ten days amid heavy monsoon conditions, disrupting public life and transportation services.
The sustained heavy rainfall has caused severe traffic jams in multiple neighbourhoods. Special teams from Hydraa, GHMC, HMWSSB, and the police are working tirelessly to manage waterlogging and ensure the safety of residents.
According to rainfall data from the Telangana Development Planning Society, the highest rainfall over the ten days was recorded in the following areas:
Jawahar Nagar, Musheerabad: 18 mm (July 24)
MCRHRD IT Campus, Shaikpet: 19.3 mm (July 25)
Mailardevpally in Rajendra Nagar: 15 mm (July 26)
CMTC Shaikpet: 112.3 mm (August 4)
Khajaguda Sports Complex, Gachibowli: 123.5 mm (August 7)
