Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms forecast across Telangana till August 14
The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for several Telangana districts. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are expected across the State, with the IMD forecasting the conditions to persist until Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad MET department on Friday has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.
Apart from heavy rainfall alert, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely to occur in all districts of Telangana, the Hyderabad MET department said.
Based on the week-long forecast of IMD, Hyderabad, a combination of heavy rains, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds will continue across all parts of the State till next Thursday, August 14, 2025.
