Heavy rains lash erstwhile Karimnagar

The highest rainfall of 145.3 mm was recorded in Kathalapur of Jagitial district followed by 110.5 mm in Rudrangi of Rajanna-Sircilla district, and 119.0 mm in Govindaram of Jagitial.

Karimnagar: Several parts of erstwhile Karimnagar district were lashed by very heavy rains in the past 24 hours.

The highest rainfall of 145.3 mm was recorded in Kathalapur of Jagitial district followed by 110.5 mm in Rudrangi of Rajanna-Sircilla district, and 119.0 mm in Govindaram of Jagitial.


Flood-water-Jagitial

Most of the areas in Rajanna-Sircilla district witnessed heavy rains. While Ellanthakunta recorded 90.8 mm, Mallaram saw 80.0 mm rainfall followed by Boinpalli-60, Gajasingaram 58.8, Gambhiraopeta 56.5, Nampalli 56.0, Peddalingapur 50.6, Marrigadda 50.0, Vattemla 46.3, Avunoor 35.5 and Yellareddypeta 34.5 mm.

Flood-water-Ramannapet

In Karimnagar, Chigurumamidi and Renikunta received 85.9 mm, Venkepalli 72.0, Veenavanka 58.0, Bornapalli 54.3, Gattudeddenapalli 52.5, Edullagattepalli 50.0, Nustulapur 50.0, Gangipalli 43.8, Kothagattu 37.8, Pochampalli 36.8 and Jammikunta 30.8 mm.

Flood-water-Ramannapet-Metpalli

While Thirumalapur received 56.0 mm, Mannegudeam got 52.3 mm in Jagitial followed by Allipur 41.5, Sirikonda 36.8, Pudur 36.3, Polasa 36.3, Metpalli 34.5 and Jagitial 30.0 mm.
